NDT Technician - Rapid Progression

Are you a skilled Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technician with a passion for ensuring the integrity and safety of materials and structures? As an NDT technician, you will play a crucial role in employing cutting-edge testing methods to detect and analyze defects without causing damage to the tested materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day & Night Shifts needed. Will support both facilities.
• Level II MT, RT, & UT (minimum of 2 certificates required).
• Must be able to read & understand codes and specifications. Will ensure all inspections comply with applicable standards and specifications.
• Verify conformance of product to shop drawings and contract requirements through dimensional checks with a tape measure to drawings; visual inspection of welds, NDT testing to include MT, RT, & UT as applicable.
• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Understand where to find and how to use the "parts-of-line" information.
• Understand the safe working load of the hoist line.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Level II certification in MT, RT, & UT.
• Proven experience in NDT techniques and inspections.
• Ability to read and interpret codes, specifications, and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings.
• Proficiency in using NDT equipment and tools.
• Willingness to work day and night shifts as needed.

Compensation will be based on the level of certifications and ability to perform work accurately and productively.
