Costa Mesa CA – (Onsite)

Seeking a Negotiations Assistant- This role will support senior negotiators in various tasks related to preparing for, conducting, and documenting negotiations. This typically includes research, strategy development, document preparation, data analysis, meeting support, and record-keeping.

Responsibilities:
· Document Preparation: Review negotiation documents, agreements, and contracts.

· Meeting Support: Attend negotiation meetings, take detailed notes, and document key points.

· Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant credit regulations and internal policies.

· Communication: Facilitate communication between parties involved in negotiations and maintain positive relationships

· Following up on settlement letters from creditors and obtaining client authorization

· Following up on outstanding documentation for settlements and legal documents

· Call creditors for update on account balance, delinquency, placement.

Qualifications:
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

· Excellent communication and people skills.

· Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets).

· Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

· Understanding of contract management principles and practices.

· Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.

· Experience in a similar role (preferred)

Compensation of $19.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE
