Neighborhood Leader

The Neighborhood Leader is a blended role where the primary responsibility is to enhance the resident’s quality of life. The neighborhood model aims to create a home-like feel for residents emphasizing social interaction, resident autonomy, and personalized care. Neighborhood Leaders are responsible for the non-clinical functions of the household and are part of the leadership team. Neighborhood leaders work closely with the nurse leader to effectively lead the neighborhood. 

Essential Job Duties: 

· Provide leadership within the neighborhood

· support and assist with staffing and building the team

· overseeing and ensuring quality and safety for both staff and residents

· Evaluates and addresses the successes and needs of the household

· Assures that resident rights and responsibilities are honored and met

· Promotes the residents’ well-being and satisfaction by supporting resident centered care

· Keeps the overall function of the household running smoothly

· Practices highly sensitive interpersonal and communication skills with staff, other departments, residents and families

Hours and Pay:

· Hours will be full-time (20 hours of House Leader, 20 hours in Neighborhood supporting in different roles such as CNA, TMA, or Homemaker)

· This position is part of a weekend rotation with the other Neighborhood Leaders, anticipating every third weekend. Some hours will be non-traditional to maintain the needs of the household
