Patient Demographics: Neonatal ICU patients, high acuity
Average Daily Volume: 10 patients/day
Rounding: Assigned Patients

FACILITY INFORMATION

No. of Beds in Department: 56 beds
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: 20 -22 RNs, 2 -3 APPs, 1 Office Staff

PICC/UVC/UAC lines
Chest tubes
Lumbar punctures
Intubation

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: No
Temporary Privileges Available: No

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC
Licenses: PA or IMLC
Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP
Experience: Experience in neonatal critical care and transport preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee daily care of high -acuity NICU patients in collaboration with physicians
Perform required procedures including PICC/UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and intubations
Participate in neonatal ground and air transport as needed
Cover evening, night, and weekend shifts, with the possibility of 24 -hour shifts
Complete orientation sessions and training modules as required
