Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic and patient-centered care.
- Educate patients and their families about kidney health, disease management, and treatment options.
- Participate in ongoing clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and staff development activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Florida.
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in nephrology or related specialty.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic tests and formulating differential diagnoses.
