Job Description - Nephrology Physician

Worksite: On-site
Position: Full-time
Location: Reno, Nevada

Duties:

Provide comprehensive nephrology care for inpatient and outpatient VA Beneficiaries
Conduct consultations, diagnoses, therapies, and treatments for kidney disease patients
Perform dialysis procedures and manage complications
Supervise and sign off on physician assistant notes, medications, and orders
Participate in inpatient consultation, rounding, weekend rounding, and on-call coverage
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements:

Ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.
Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification/board eligibility in Nephrology.
Current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
