A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a .NET Core Developer to join our Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS) team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. RMLS is the FAA’s logging system for recording maintenance work performed on facilities in the National Airspace System (NAS). RMLS provides a rich database of unstructured text, reading every log file.
This is an on-site position.
Essential Job Functions:
Highly technical Computer Scientist with expertise in NAS programs and its state-of-the-art systems.
Superior proficiency and knowledge of the NAS system hardware and software, knowledge of FAA procedural requirements, real-time design and development, testing and interface of software and computer hardware systems, regression impact analysis, reliability, maintainability, human factors, standardization and other reengineering regarding FAA missions and NAS systems.
Perform system-wide analysis and functional allocations, business process modeling and reengineering, internal operating systems, databases, and network architectures. Using prescribed methods and information furnished, develops draft inputs to program documentation as it relates to any of the support functions.
Perform assignments on a broad range of tasks associated with the implementation of standards techniques, procedures, and criteria as they apply to technical tasks.
Develop new technology, modify the structure of existing software products, and provide technical guidance to complex projects
Review final draft documents for conformity to requirements and completeness.
Tracks preparation and delivery status of required deliverables.
Attend and may lead meetings, design reviews, working groups and briefings.
Report issues and problems and recommends solutions.
Perform other related duties in line with tasks assignments.
Experience in project management may be required.
Provide expertise in developing and updating web applications including HTML 5/XHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, JSON technologies.
Must be able to implement full stack web development and/or model-view-controller architecture.
Familiarity with object-oriented programming techniques, client/server development, cross-browser development, and UNIX/Linux skills maybe required.
Provide expertise in a specific technical area defined by the government that is not readily available in the other defined categories and is pertinent to Technical Operations maintenance of NAS.
Develop, build, deploy software changes using .NET Core, MVC, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
Write PL/SQL Scripts and queries for Oracle DB procedures.
Develop new features and modify the structure of existing software products.
Work within an agile team to support software development and test under agile methodology.
Troubleshoot application problems.
Provide support for the deployment of the applications.
Provide field support.
Located at the W. J. Hughes Technical Center
After hours install and support may be needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
Excellent knowledge and experience with .NET Core, MVC, ASP.NET JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
Excellent knowledge and experience with AJAX and Web Service.
Excellent knowledge and experience with writing database queries and procedures using PL/SQL.
Excellent writing and verbal skills.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Web server-side knowledge (Apache/11S)
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Math or a Bachelor's degree in another technical field with a minimum of (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and 15 years of related work experience in a computer science or math field OR
Master's degree in any field of study with a minimum of (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and 12 years related work experience in a computer science or math field OR
PhD or Doctorial in a related field with a minimum of (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics and computer science and 3 years of related work experience in a computer science or math field.
Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.
