Network Administrator

for our client, an organization that specializes in proactive IT management solutions for businesses based out of

Cincinnati, OH .

This is

a 6-month contract

position that has the potential to convert to direct hire.

What you will be doing :

Managing Linux servers, MS Active Directory, and migration to Office 365.Maintaining and monitoring network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls.Implementing and maintaining network security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and security threats.Troubleshooting network issues and resolving connectivity problems or hardware/software malfunctions.Configuring network settings such as IP addresses, DNS servers, and network protocols.Providing technical support to end-users for network-related inquiries and troubleshooting.Monitoring network traffic and performance metrics using network monitoring tools.Implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions for network infrastructure and data.Maintaining accurate documentation of network configurations and procedures.Planning and executing network upgrades, expansions, or migrations to accommodate business needs.Conducting security audits and compliance checks to ensure network security and regulatory compliance.

What you will need :

6+ YOE as at Network Administration or similar roleBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent certifications (Microsoft certifications preferred).Strong background in Microsoft systems.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict background check requirements.Interested?Contact Scion Technology today for more information by submitting your resume directly through this posting.
