Job Description - Network and Cyber Architect - Principal

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Network and Cyber Architect - Senior, located at Hanscom AFB, in Bedford, Massachusetts. This elevated position acts as a key role with a wide range of responsibilities within a DoD setting.

Primary Functions may include:



  • Identifying opportunities to improve enterprise-level systems to support business processes and utilize emerging technologies.

  • Developing reference models of the enterprise and maintaining the information in the IT repository.

  • Determining the gaps between the current and the target architecture and recommending plans for transitioning to target architecture.

  • Recommending the policies and principles to guide technology decisions for the enterprise architecture.

  • Coordinating and conducting governance and portfolio management activities associated with ensuring compliance with the enterprise architecture; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices to all components of the enterprise architecture.

  • Work with the Identity, credentials, and access management (ICAM) team to ensure cross division and cloud usability, both in the connected and disconnected state.

  • Work to plan out and execute an executable DAF Zero Trust plan and roadmap.

  • Work to put the division on the path of modernization specifically with regard to the divisions Digital Engineering using SysML.

  • Will perform other duties as assigned. 


Qualifications:



  • Minimum Education/Experience Requirements Desired advanced degree (MA/MS) and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed with 5 of those years in the DoD or DoD related areas.

  • Secret security clearance. 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.


All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation including criminal history and identity check.


The annual salary range: $190k - $205k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
