Network Architect - CCIE Required

Requisition Number: 105026 \n\nNetwork Architect \u2013 CCIE Required (Route \u0026 Switch/ Enterprise Infrastructure)\n\nLocation: Remote with the ability to go onsite to support our client in Texas as needed (rare occasion)\n\nSalary: Depending on experience, pay is up to $155K per year with a 10% bonus structure and full benefits \n\nNetwork Architect serves as a subject matter expert responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise and data center network solutions, primarily within Cisco environments. This role is a mix of approximately 60\u201370% architecture, design, and consulting work, and 30\u201340% operational support and escalations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Design and implement enterprise network architectures, including core, distribution, access, WAN, and data center environments\n * Act as an SME for routing and switching, SD-WAN, wireless, load balancing, telephony, and network security technologies\n * Develop and document customer requirements and implementation plans\n * Lead network assessments, provide recommendations, and support solution delivery\n * Participate in client-facing engagements, including workshops, solution design, and pre-sales activities (RFPs, SOWs)\n * Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and perform troubleshooting, upgrades, and optimizations\n * Support lifecycle management, capacity planning, and documentation handoff\n * Mentor junior engineers and contribute as a technical lead when needed\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n * Current Cisco CCIE (Routing and Switching or equivalent) required\n * 3\u20135+ years of post-CCIE experience in network architecture and design required \n * Prior consulting or professional services experience\n * Strong communication and client-facing skills\n * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\n\n\n\nTechnical Expertise\n\n * Routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, QoS, VPNs)\n * Network services (DNS, DHCP, NTP, Syslog, etc.)\n * Cisco technologies including SD-WAN, ACI, Nexus, Catalyst, ASR\n * Data center networking, high availability design, and disaster recovery\n * Load balancing (F5), firewalls, and network security design\n * Wireless technologies (Cisco, Aruba) and network access control (ISE)\n\n\n\nAdditional Experience\n\n * Pre-sales support including solution design, scoping, and pricing\n * Experience with multi-vendor environments and enterprise-scale deployments\n\n\n\nThe position described above provides a summary of some the job duties required and what it would be like to work at Insight.
