Network Evaluator

Position Title: Cybersecurity Engineer

Position Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Position Type: Direct-hire (full-time)

Clearance: TS/SCI w/ Fullscope Polygraph

Description: Cybersecurity Engineer to support an exciting Computer Network Defense mission.

Responsibilities

• Conduct network defense and vulnerability assessment activities
• Analyze network traffic, audit logs, and security events
• Investigate cyber threats and develop mitigation strategies
• Perform packet analysis and support incident response efforts
• Produce technical reports and recommendations for government stakeholders
• Collaborate with mission teams to improve security posture

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (or CI Poly completed within the last 6 years)
• Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista network devices
• Hands-on experience with Splunk and Elastic
• Experience with vulnerability assessments, network security, and cybersecurity analysis
• Strong understanding of network protocols and packet analysis

Preferred Skills

• Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar network analysis tools
• Digital forensics and intrusion detection
• MITRE ATT&CK and NIST cybersecurity frameworks
• Security scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, or CISSP
• Familiarity with Network Device Integrity (NDI) methodologies
