Network Install Tech II

As a Network Installation Technician, you will work as a key member of our teams who travel to properties to install network equipment and access points, enabling our industry leading Wi-Fi solutions. 

• Assisting with gathering and loading project equipment from our warehouse.
• Traveling with teams to property job sites and bringing assigned tools and gear.
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing cable television and Internet services in MDU properties and businesses.
• Working with a Supervisor and teammates to effectively and efficiently complete on-site installation tasks.
• Assisting with site documentation as needed.
• Assisting with closing out jobs by ensuring unused equipment is installed. 

• A current valid State Driver’s License and non-negligent driving record is required.
• Must have reliable transportation to work.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be readily available for project assignments. 
• Must be willing to work on some weekends and overtime as needed.
• Must be physically capable of climbing ladders, working in closets, rooftops, and construction sites.
• A background check will be completed on all applicants considered for this position.
• Must have top notch customer service skills as Installation Technicians will be entering private dwellings & managed properties and must coordinate with property managers and tenants.
• Must be able to operate independently when needed.
• Must demonstrate excellent organization and communication skills, especially regarding being timely with job performance, working effectively with teammates, and proactively communicating job status and any questions or issues.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• 1-3 years’ experience in Cable/Internet Tech-Fiber Optic work is preferred.
• A demonstrated ability to train other teammates and experience supervising small teams is highly desirable.
