Job Description

The Network Team develops, deploys, maintains, and manages the Voice and Data Network Infrastructure, taking responsibility for its performance, capacity management, business as usual operational monitoring and off hours support. Technologies within the team's responsibility includes: LAN and WAN networks, firewalls and security devices, wireless connectivity, voice, and video communications and all related areas of Network Infrastructure.

The above is led by the Network Manager and overseas a small team for all LVMH Beauty Maisons as part of the wider Technology Operations department (WW). The manager's role is to coordinate team and service providers to ensure daily provision, quality of service, and connectivity across the business. Also included but not limited to implementation of changes to support project delivery. The role will ensure LVMH Beauty Tech process and procedures are adhered to and will work across the technology function to implement process and continually improve the services provided to business. The role will also ensure compliance to security policies within the team's scope, as well as ensuring disaster recovery plans and business continuity are aligned.

Strategic Management
Provide architectural and design input to strategic direction for the development of data networks and supporting Infrastructure environment.
Make recommendations to the Director of Infrastructure for the enhancement of the above infrastructure.
Manage the technical implementation of agreed initiatives working with all required parties to ensure successful delivery according to Stakeholder and Project Management Office criteria.
Identification and rectification of poor or obsolete systems or practice.
Identify areas of cost saving and ensure that all systems are maintained in the most cost-efficient way without impacting availability and performance.

Technical / Operational Management
Proactive management of the networks (LAN, WAN, WiFi, Mobile) in all office and POS locations, ensuring a suitable level of performance, security, and contingency.
Management and enhancement of Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco (Meraki) / Aruba switching, access points and routing technologies. Cisco ISE (intrusion detection and protection systems).
Ensure all documentation is kept up to date e.g., network diagrams, procedure manuals, disaster recovery documentation.
Management of and co-ordination with engineers and colleagues to respond to Service Desk calls and Work Requests received within SLO's.
Knowledgeable in the Disaster Recovery processes of the systems within area of responsibility to meet agreed RTOs (Recovery Time Objective) and maintain DR documentation, accounting for changes in live systems.
Escalate any issues or problems whose resolution deviates from or is likely to deviate from SLO's or is likely to have an impact on company operations or ability to deliver high standard of services to user community and staff.
Responsible for network monitoring, reporting and bandwidth optimization.
Contribute to the development of department wide standards of service and delivery.
Ensure appropriate maintenance processes are in place to protect the performance of the service in the longer term.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors and suppliers.
Ensure that the change management system is adhered to and that all changes to the network infrastructure are documented and approved.
Develop and maintain toolset for the 24/7 monitoring across LVMH Beauty Division.
Develop and maintain toolset for capacity management of the network across LVMH Beauty Division.

Project Involvement
Providing advice to projects to assure that new services have appropriate service delivery processes, plans and tools in place.
Perform design, development, and implementation tasks as part of project teams.
Ensure all network elements of projects are transitioned and communicated.

Reports to Sr. Director of Infrastructure.

Qualifications

Education, Qualifications and Training
Certifications (CCNP, CCDP, PCNSA, PCNSE, ACNT).
At least 4 years' experience as a network engineer.
Ability to identify, deploy, and manage complex networking systems.
Experience with storage engineering, wide-area networking, and network virtualization.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential
Proven experience in designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting large scale IT Network systems.
Managing team of networking specialists and 3rd parties.
Expertise in TCP/IP, support and troubleshooting.
Understanding of SAN technology and DNS/DHCP administration.
Exposure to server network connectivity, teaming, TCP/IP networking, switching and routing.
Expertise in VLANs,
Knowledge and experience of firewall technologies, ideally Cisco and Palo Alto.
Understanding ITIL procedures.
Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Change Control Processes and Network Performance Monitoring Tools.
Strong experience with technical documentation writing and maintenance.
Awareness of Information Security issues, threats, and countermeasures.
Experience of structured cabling (fiber and copper).

Desirable
Experience of VMware Virtualization technology, clustering, resource groups, Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
Exposure to Cloud, SAAS, IAAS, PAAS connectivity.
Knowledge of enterprise level storage solutions (NAS, SAN).
Rack Management experience.

Normal Office Environment

25% Travel Required

The ability to lift equipment upwards of 40 pounds to a height of 3-4 feet for racking purposes or carrying from one location to another within office perimeter.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $89,580-$133,400k.
