Network Monitoring Syastem Administrator

Webbing is looking for a Network Monitoring System Administrator to take ownership, manage and maintain Webbing’s existing and new monitoring solutions.

Main responsibilities:

• Evaluate and improve Webbing existing monitoring setup
• Proactively look for and evaluate new Monitoring systems and solutions to improve existing monitoring capabilities within Webbing
• Take responsibility of currently ongoing implementation of new centralized monitoring and alarming system development
• Existing Monitoring system administration and configuration
• New network element and solution implementation and configuration within monitoring systems
• Alarm definition and KPI definition and visibility setup based on Webbing business needs
• New and existing monitoring element handover organization to Webbing NOC
• Internal system documentation creation as well as involvement in team monitoring procedure creation
• 3000 - 3600 before tax 

• Previous experience working with and configuration of mobile and IP network monitoring
• Good understanding of Mobile Network management protocols, call flows and procedures
• Familiar with network management protocols (SNMP, MQTT)
• Familiar with IP and cellular network protocols
• General understanding of DBA
• Basic understanding and experience with Linux Redhat or Linux CentOS
• Ability to perform data queries, validation, and basic troubleshooting using SQL
• Very good English both spoken and written;
• Strong personal drive and great desire for self-learning;
• Interest in mobile technologies, IoT and technologies in general;
• Accuracy and high sense of responsibility;
• Ability to work in a global company environment
• Previous experience working with monitoring systems provided by Ploystar, Paessler and IBM will be considered advantage
• Previous experience working with IBM SANO/SevOne monitoring implementation and administration will be considered advantage
• Ability to work on-call/overtime to ensure continuous uptime for the relevant administered systems
