Job Description

Link Solutions Inc. is seeking a Network Operations Engineer (Intermediate-Level) to join our team in Quantico, VA.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret DoD Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Non-remote (relocation incentive available)

Our Network Operations Engineer will provide critical support to the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Program, operating under the Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group (MCCOG).  You will assist in the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of PKI technologies across the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN), contributing to secure communications and certificate management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing Certificate Authority (CA) infrastructure using Microsoft ADCS, Keyfactor EJBCA, and Red Hat CA.
  • Monitor PKI systems and supporting technologies, including OCSP, CRLs, HSMs, and virtual infrastructure.
  • Conduct system checks, publish CRLs, and provide Tier II/III troubleshooting support.
  • Maintain documentation for disaster recovery (DR), COOP, and configuration management.
  • Participate in cybersecurity compliance activities, including STIGs, IAVM, and RMF controls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Support testing and deployment of new PKI technologies.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active or obtainable Top Secret DoD Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Four (4+) years of direct PKI/network operations experience in a DoD or classified environment

Certifications:

  • IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security Training, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC).
  • One or more of the following: CCNA, VMware VCP, NetApp NCTA.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or equivalent.

Preferred

  • Experience with event and incident management, including ticket tracking and reporting.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint for documentation, task tracking, and operational planning.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting Windows/Unix hybrid environments.
  • Knowledge of PKI integration with mobile platforms and tactical networks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.

Additional Information

This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations. We anticipate these processes will be completed within the next 2 months, at which time interviews and offers will be extended upon successful contract award.
