We are looking for a highly motivated Network Technician to join a great team and have a real impact on the business!
The ideal candidate is a customer champion who brings acombination oftechnical acumen, problem solving skills, great judgement, and all-star collaborative ability to drive successful resolution of customer issues and measures success in the satisfaction of the customer.
Responsibilities:
Monitor core network elements, network performance, and facilities for service issues and proactively address potential issues
Perform remote troubleshooting while always maintaining a positive and professional manner in high-stress situations
Take repair calls and provide status to customers on a regular basis
Maintain workload through a queue detailing each ticket with notes of steps taken test results and resolution
Provide installation/configuration guidance and testing to customers and partners
Act as first level of escalation for repairs and orders for Customer Care and Service Delivery
Provide remote support for Field Services teams
Provide 24x7 on-call support as needed, including ability to work a flexible, off-hours schedule for planned/unplanned issues
Make recommendations for process and procedure improvement
Maintain schedule of network maintenance
Be able to perform individually at or above expectations
Qualifications, skills, and knowledge:
A bachelor’s degree in related field
Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
2+ years of voice and data troubleshooting experience
Customer-first attitude
CCNA, CCENT, or other Cisco certifications are preferred
Cisco/Adtran Router and Switch experience, VoIP experience preferred
Intermediate understanding of telephony, IP, LAN/WAN technology concepts
Strong analytical skills
