Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Neurologist to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in the Bronx, New York. This role focuses on diagnosing, treating, and managing neurological disorders in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose complex medical problems by referring to a patient’s history, examining them, and conducting neurological tests.
Counsel patients on neurological disorders and their backgrounds.
Order neurological tests and interpret the results of neuroimaging studies.
Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication.
Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication.
Order supportive care services for patients.
Participate in neuroscience research activities.
Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
Keep up-to-date with neurological developments, treatments, and medication.
Perform specialized treatments such as sleep disorders, neuroimmunology, neuro-oncology, behavioral neurology, and neurogenetics.
Perform and interpret lumbar punctures, electroencephalography, electromyography, and nerve conduction velocity tests.
Education: MD degree from an accredited medical school.
Licensure: Must have an active New York State medical license. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Technical Skills: Proficient in performing and interpreting lumbar punctures, electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) tests. Skilled in neuroimaging interpretation.
Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other medical professionals.
