Registered Nurse – Job Summary & Qualifications

We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with our organization’s mission, vision, and values. You’ll work closely with doctors and care teams to support patients throughout their healthcare journey, using a nursing model that emphasizes Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.

What You’ll Do:

• Assess patients on admission and throughout each shift; report any status changes promptly.

• Perform procedures and care as ordered by providers, ensuring accurate documentation.

• Administer medications, monitor for effectiveness, and respond to any adverse reactions.

• Respond quickly and thoughtfully to patient needs, providing exceptional care and service.

• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and follow-up care—clearly explaining medical terms and instructions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years).

• Education:

  • Required: Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)

• Certification:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

• Licensure:

  • Active RN license in the state of practice or a valid compact license, as required by law
