JOB TITLE:  Neuropsychologist

STATUS:  Regular Full-Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Job Description Available Upon Demand) 

• Implements and supports the practice mission and strategic vision within respective departments.


• Handles confidential information requiring professional discretion and compliance with protected health information, data integrity and security policies.


• Provides routine diagnostic, therapeutic and emergency care for patients.


• Maintains a patient load and has specialized training in a clinical area.


• Implements treatment plans that utilize Alivation’s Integrated Care offerings including, but not limited to, Primary Care, On-Site Pharmacy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Pharmacogenetic Testing, Telehealth, Research, Remote Patient Monitoring, and others.


• May be asked to be a Primary Investigator or Sub-Investigator on Research Studies.


• Meticulously documents patient related administrative and clinical documentation in electronic medical records system.


• Demonstrates critical thinking and function under stressful or emergent situations.


• Demonstrates adaptability to changing work demands in terms of priorities that necessitate personal initiative.


• Demonstrates excellent analytical skills, active listening skills, verbal, and written communication skills, patience, and trustworthiness to effectively share knowledge with Chief Medical Officer, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Family Practice Physician, medical staff, student residents, patients, families, visitors, and the broader health care community.


• Demonstrates competence in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities that service to maintain, develop, or increase knowledge, skills, and professional performance.


• Other clinical or administrative duties as assigned by Chief Medical Officer to meet practice needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:  A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) In Psychology, Medicine, Biology or Neuroscience Degree From An APA-Accredited Program Required | Successful Completion of A Clinical Practice Internship | Post-Doctoral Training Under Supervision Required | Active Nebraska License (State Registry In Good Standing) Required | Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred or In Process | Familiar with EMR & PM Systems | Familiar with Microsoft Platforms    

EXPERIENCE:  Three Years Previous Experience In Neuropsychology Treatment | Preferred Specialized Training In A Clinical Area | Ability To Conduct Assessments and Evaluations To Characterize Cognitive, Mental and Behavioral Abilities Resulting From Central Nervous System Disease or Injury | Provide Patient Health Education | Broad Research Knowledge In Human Physiology and Psychology
