The Mount Sinai Health System’s Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health is seeking a neuropsychologist with expertise in neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, including but not limited to Alzheimer’s disease, dementia with Lewy body disease, and frontotemporal dementia.
The candidate will be proficient in conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive function and aid in differential diagnosis. The role will involve outpatient neuropsychological assessments and interdisciplinary collaboration with behavioral neurologists, neurology fellows, nurse practitioners, social workers, and other specialists.

The Barbara and Maurice Deane Center for Wellness and Cognitive Health (the Deane Center) within the Deane Healthy Brain Initiative at Mount Sinai is designed to identify and address the diverse medical, social service, and educational needs of—and provide seamless coordination of care for—three groups:
One of the Deane Center’s primary objectives is to direct all individuals with cognitive and behavioral complaints, through a strong organizational structure and extensive screening process, to the appropriate channels of assessment and care. Within the Deane Center, we have established cross-departmental collaborations among neurology, geriatrics, and psychiatry experts, and we have developed systems of coordinated clinical care to provide advanced care, connecting the key clinical points for patient observation, screening, and treatment. The result is a single portal of entry for any patient or caregiver affected by cognitive or behavioral disorders, as well as adults looking to maintain their brain health.
The neuropsychologist will actively participate in our multidisciplinary case conferences, presenting assessment findings and contributing to patient care planning. There will also be opportunities to engage in research, including investigations into cognitive and neurological functioning, disease mechanisms, and clinical interventions. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is encouraged, with access to resources and support for developing independent research initiatives.
The compensation range for this position is 110K to 150K, based on experience and qualifications (excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits).

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need.
