JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Arizona license required or proof of application; IMLC accepted
• Board: BC/BE in Neurosurgery required
• DEA: Active DEA required in Arizona
• Certifications: BLS required
• Experience: Experience in Level I trauma setting preferred
• Other Qualifications: Ability to manage high -volume trauma cases
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide 24 -hour neurosurgery call coverage for trauma cases
• Perform emergency neurosurgical procedures as required
• Evaluate and manage neurosurgical trauma patients
• Provide inpatient consultations and surgical decision -making
• Collaborate with trauma and multidisciplinary care teams
• Document patient encounters and procedures in Cerner EMR
