• Shift Schedule: 7 on, 7 off; 630a-630p

• Patient Volume: 10

• Admissions Required: Yes

• Rounding Included: Yes

• Support Staff: 2 APPs

• Physicians in Practice: 7 Neurosurgeons

• Case Mix: Split between Spinal & Cranial cases or varies; May be a 50/50 though this can fluctuate based on surgical volume & patient needs.

• Duties:

- Does not include OR coverage; Strictly 100% IP floor coverage.

- Responsibilities in MICU, SICU & ED

• Required Skills:

- Strong background in neurosurgery, including experience w/ post-operative & neurocritical care.

- Robust experience in neurosurgical patient mgmt, especially post-op care & ICU-level acuity.

• Beds in the Dept: 10

• Trauma Levels: I, III

• EMR: Cerner

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• MT License

• BC/BE

• ACLS, BLS

• Experience in neurocritical care (preferred)
