New Assignment Alert for Registered Respiratory Therapist in Yuma ,AZ

We are looking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and select neonatal patients. The therapist will perform respiratory treatments, manage ventilator settings, assist with intubations, and support patients across inpatient and emergency care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Perform approximately 35 respiratory treatments per 12-hour shift.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Manage approximately 5–6 ventilated patients per day, as assigned.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Draw and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs).
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Administer respiratory treatments and monitor patient responses.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Manage and adjust ventilator settings according to patient needs and clinical orders.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with intubation procedures. Independent intubation is not required for travelers.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Provide respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients.
  
  

  
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  

  Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Arizona RRT license/credential required
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  CRT is not accepted
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  NRP required for candidates with NICU experience or neonatal assignments
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to assist with intubation procedures
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Strong clinical assessment and respiratory care skills
  
  

  
  

Clinical Environment

• 
  

  Patient population includes adults, pediatric patients, and neonates for appropriately trained therapists.

  May float to a freestanding emergency department approximately 15 minutes away.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  A Charge RRT is available on each shift.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  An intensivist is available in-house 24/7.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Therapists may be placed on low census based on department needs.
