Job Summary:
Scranton Financial Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented New Business Processor/Tracker to join our team. This individual will be responsible for opening and monitoring brokerage, ACAT, annuity, and investment applications. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in the financial services industry, strong communication skills, and a high level of accuracy and follow-through. Proficiency with CRM systems and comfort working in a fast-paced environment is essential.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and review all new business paperwork in coordination with financial advisors.

· Ensure accuracy of applications, confirming required signatures, dates, and supplemental documentation.

· Submit completed applications to custodians or carriers, including checks, transfer paperwork, and client statements.

· Monitor and follow up on pending transfers by reviewing carrier platforms or contacting institutions directly.

· Maintain ongoing communication with clients regarding account status and outstanding requirements.

· Record detailed meeting notes and assign follow-up tasks using the firm’s CRM system.

· Provide backup assistance to the Client Service Representative when needed.

· Track task completion daily using internal systems or CRM tools.

· Monitor transfer activity via clearing firm platforms (if applicable to advisor licensing).

· Maintain updated records of login credentials for all carrier websites.

· Coordinate and process annual Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) for eligible clients.

· Organize and maintain physical and digital client files per company procedures.

· Schedule recurring courtesy calls based on advisor-defined client categories.

· Maintain and update the advisor’s new business log, providing weekly reports to management.

· Track and report advisor metrics, including applications submitted, pending, and completed.

  

Qualifications:

· 3–5 years of experience in the financial services industry

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

· Strong verbal and written communication abilities

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

· High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism

· Ability to research and resolve issues related to commissions or application processing

· Familiarity with life insurance and annuity products is a plus

Physical Requirements

· Ability to work for extended periods at a desk using a computer with a keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

· Occasional repetitive motions for computer equipment use.

· Ability to lift up to 10 pounds if/when necessary.

· Regular use of telephone and email for communication.

· Work is typically performed in an office setting, involving routine sitting, bending, and stooping.
