is hiring a

New Business Specialist

to complete the initial review ofannuity applications, pending for missing requirements as needed, and final-action (issuing, declining, or referring) the applications once a final decision has been reached. This will demand expertise with all of the key responsibilities referenced below.
This is an exciting opportunity within our New Business Operation team supporting the processing of our annuity applications. As a New Business Specialist, you are responsible for reviewing applications to determine if a policy will be issued or declined and will demand expertise with all the key responsibilities referenced below.
As a New Business Specialist,

your responsibilities will include:
Requesting missing and incomplete information via written and verbal communications with internal and field associates.
Providing corresponding field associates of respective case status.
Requesting further documentation, as applicable.
Performing data entry and keying of action items.
Reviewing initial applications for Annuity products for completeness and accuracy.
Requesting missing and incomplete information via written and verbal communications with internal associates and field associates.
Setting up Annuity applications for issuing, ensuring data entry accuracy and completeness, proper premium coding, and appropriate OFS coding.
Handling escalations in a time sensitive manner.
The

New Business Specialist position

is well-suited for you if you:
Are able to handle multiple tasks and act with a strong sense of urgency.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Possess basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.
What you’ll need:
High school diploma or GED.
One year of related work experience
What will set you apart:
Some college experience or degree.
Willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
Annuity New Business experience.

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.
All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

Compensation
Pay Range: $18.34 - $27.50 Hourly
