Job Description - New Cafe Opening Partner

Summary of Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a New Cafe Opening Partner. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful launch of a new restaurant location, providing project management, on-site training, and leadership support to ensure a smooth opening process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations, project management, and leadership.
This position must have outstanding communication skills, both in verbal and written forms, ability to develop strong relationships and implement effective solutions. Must be highly organized, strategic and able to manage multiple priorities, with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy and Oversight
Lead the planning and execution of all aspects of the new restaurant opening process, including timeline development, budget management, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Provide on-site training and support to restaurant staff during the pre-opening and opening phases, ensuring that all team members are prepared to deliver exceptional service.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the new restaurant location, including training materials, operational guidelines, and quality control measures.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of equipment, supplies, and services needed for the restaurant opening.
Oversee the corporate recruitment, hiring, process for all leaders and team members.
Oversee the training of New Cafe Opening Trainers and all Salaried and Hourly New Cafe Team Members, ensuring that the team is properly trained and motivated for a successful opening.
Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to track the progress of the restaurant opening and make adjustments as needed to meet goals and objectives
Provide leadership and support to the restaurant team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes success and growth
Train, coach, and develop leaders, through timely performance and observation feedback and evaluations.
Coordinate with various departments, including development, design, construction, operations services, marketing, and operations, to ensure a seamless and timely opening.
Monitor and adhere to budgets for new cafe openings.
Brand Reputation Management:
Maintains high product quality standards, consistency, and presentation across all cafes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Ensures the maintenance of a safe and harassment free workplace in all cafes and for all members of the New Cafe Opening Team.
Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors and suppliers and ensures timely delivery of goods and services.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends, competition, and best practices, and proactively introduce process improvements and innovation.
Stays updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to make informed business decisions.
Requirements & Qualifications
Proven experience in a leadership role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a multi-location setting.
Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to think creatively and translate vision into actionable plans.
Exceptional leadership abilities, including motivating and inspiring a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated financial understanding and experience in managing budgets and cost control.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to travel and work flexible hours to accommodate training needs during restaurant openings
Travel up to 80%
Must be based in Orlando, Florida
