New Car Prep Technician

New Car Prep Technician is available within the Jeff Dambrosio Auto Group.  This position is responsible for preparing vehicles for delivery to customers, ensuring they meet the manufacturer's standards for appearance, functionality, and safety.  This role is common in automotive dealerships and service departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prep Inspections: Check vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and correct accessories


• Install factory accessories: Fit and secure items like roof racks, floor mats, or trim kits as specified by the manufacturer


• Test-drive and diagnostics: Operate vehicles to verify performance and identify any needed repairs


• Follow OEM specifications: Work to exact manufacturer guidelines for paint, trim, and equipment installation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record


• Teamwork skills and ability to follow detailed instructions


• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automotive systems


• Willingness to pass drug and background checks


• OEM or factory certification preferred for higher-level roles
