NEW CONCEPT- General Manager - Cafe & Event Space

About Us
We are opening a new high-end grab-and-go café focused on quality food and elevated design. Next door, there is a separate event venue, so there will be frequent catering and deliveries.
We also operate another established location, and this new café will work closely with that team. We are building something special, and this is a chance to be part of it from the beginning — with the support of an experienced leadership team.


The Opportunity
As the General Manager of the new café, you will help bring the concept to life, working closely with ownership and the management team during the opening phase to build strong systems and culture.
Once the café is established, you will take full ownership of day-to-day operations and lead the business independently, while staying aligned with the overall company vision and maintaining communication with leadership as needed.


Key Responsibilities
Opening & Operations:
Take the lead on café setup, including hiring, training, and implementing operating procedures (SOPs), in collaboration with leadership.
Leadership:
Recruit, mentor, and build an engaged, high-performing team culture.
Financial Management:
Develop budgets, manage labor and food costs, and analyze performance metrics to maximize profitability.
Guest Experience:
Set the tone for service, ensuring an exceptional, consistent, and welcoming atmosphere.
Compliance:
Maintain health, safety, and regulatory compliance to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.


Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or senior leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment.
An entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable with ambiguity and “hands-on” building.
Strong financial acumen (P&L management, forecasting, inventory control).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
