Job Description - New Construction Estimator (Roofing)

CentiMark Corporation, the nation’s leader in the commercial/industrial roofing industry, has an exceptional opportunity for a New Construction Estimator to support Sales Representatives in our Franklin, OH office.

This role is paying $45k - $65k, based on education & experience.

Job Summary:

Filter bid- and invitation-opportunities
Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site inspections – travel out of town as needed
Write RFI’s, follow up with client representatives, and track responses
Perform project take-offs from Architect/Construction Spec Drawings – new construction projects
Estimate project costs using CentiMark AQ and spreadsheets
Secure vendor price quotes for each project
Create bid packages as required
Order bonds and bid specific qualifications
Coordinate completion and maintenance of prequalifications as needed
Complete and submit bid forms following review with Project Manager
Complete and submit proposals following review with Project Manager

Candidate Requirements:

Computer Skills (proficient in bidding software)
A Valid driver’s license in good standing
Able to climb up & down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet

Candidate Experience:
One of the following:

One year of commercial/industrial roofing supervisory experience
Two years of commercial-construction supervisory experience
One year of commercial construction estimating experience
Bachelor Degree

Two or more of the following:

Two years of commercial/industrial roofing field experience
One year of commercial/industrial roofing foreman experience
One year of commercial/industrial roofing supervisory experience
One year of commercial-construction supervisory experience
One year of commercial construction estimating experience
Associate Degree
