Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CT Supervisior to join a fast-paced hospital imaging department. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience performing CT scans, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity, high-volume clinical environment.

The successful candidate will perform diagnostic CT examinations, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality diagnostic images while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  Perform routine and basic CT examinations according to established protocols.

  Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain examination processes.

  Position patients correctly to obtain accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.

  Operate CT scanning equipment safely and efficiently.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Follow radiation safety procedures and established imaging protocols.

  Monitor patients during examinations and respond appropriately to their needs.

  Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain equipment readiness and report any technical issues.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Manage workflow effectively in a fast-paced environment with high patient volumes and acuity.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Follow departmental policies, infection control standards, and patient confidentiality requirements.
  
  

  
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  

  Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited/formal Radiologic Technology program resulting in an applicable certificate or degree.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  IEMA Radiology certification or applicable state authorization.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical imaging modality.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Experience performing basic CT scanning procedures.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently in a demanding clinical environment.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
  
  

  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  

  Previous Level I trauma center experience.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Previous travel assignment experience.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Experience operating GE CT scanners.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with the EPIC electronic medical record system.

  Ability to manage high-acuity cases and high patient volumes efficiently.
