Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) OR Supervisor  to join a high-volume Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative nursing experience, demonstrated charge nurse leadership skills, and the ability to deliver safe, high-quality patient care across multiple surgical specialties.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment with a wide variety of procedures and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Provide and coordinate high-quality nursing care throughout the surgical process.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with daily operating room activities, staffing coordination, and workflow management.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Support surgical teams in maintaining patient safety and positive clinical outcomes.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor compliance with infection prevention protocols and established safety standards.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrate leadership and provide guidance to nursing staff as needed.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Help prioritize surgical cases and address operational challenges.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow established clinical policies.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Promote effective communication and teamwork within the perioperative department.
  
  

  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• 
  

  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Illinois State Board of Nursing.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of 2–3 years of progressively responsible Operating Room nursing experience.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Previous charge nurse experience is mandatory.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Strong clinical judgment, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
