Role Overview:

They are seeking an experienced DeltaV Automation Manager to lead the design, programming, testing, and commissioning of DeltaV control systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in process control principles and DeltaV hardware/software, with a proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain DeltaV control systems across multiple projects.


• Develop technical specifications, control strategies, control narratives, and functional design documents based on project requirements.


• Program DeltaV systems, including configuring controllers, operator interfaces, and communication networks.


• Lead testing and commissioning activities, including loop testing, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and site acceptance testing (SAT).


• Troubleshoot and provide technical support for DeltaV control systems in the field.


• Ensure systems are compliant with industry standards and regulations.


• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.


• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.


• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, programming, testing, and commissioning DeltaV control systems.


• Strong knowledge of process control principles, including loop tuning and control optimization.


• Proficient in DeltaV Explorer, DeltaV Control Studio, and DeltaV Operate.


• Experience with control system networking and communication protocols such as OPC, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP.


• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently or collaboratively.


• Familiarity with other automation platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Honeywell) is beneficial but not required.


• Completion of Emerson DeltaV training programs is a strong plus.
