Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. You will play a pivotal role in managing and servicing middle to large market accounts across various industries, including marine, construction, and property. This position offers a collaborative and growth-oriented environment with opportunities for professional development.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year


• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance

Responsibilities

• Manage and service middle to large market accounts with premiums of $400,000 and above.


• Handle accounts from start to finish, including renewals, marketing, and quoting new/renewal business.


• Collaborate with the Assistant Account Manager (AAM) for back-end tasks such as certificates and endorsements.


• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.


• Participate in biweekly touchbase meetings to align with team goals and objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensure: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.


• Experience:
  
  
  
  • Minimum of 5+ years in account management, with a focus on middle or large market accounts.
  
  
  • Marine experience is a significant plus.
  
  
  • Stable work history (no jumpy resumes).
  
  
  
  


• Technical Skills:
  
  
  
  • Proficiency in Applied EPIC software is preferred but not required.
  
  
  
  


• Education: Relevant certifications or designations in insurance are a plus.


• Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and client management skills.
