Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and motivated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in commercial lines, particularly in property and hospitality. The successful candidate will work closely with the company owner and leadership team, managing a smaller book of business initially, with the opportunity to grow into an Account Executive role. This position is an onsite requirement during training and a hybrid work model thereafter.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually (based on experience)


• Profit Sharing & Bonus: 5-10% based on performance

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business with accounts ranging from $20,000 to $1.5 million in premium size


• Handle renewals, marketing, and presentations for commercial lines accounts


• Collaborate with the owner and leadership team to grow the book of business


• Assist in quoting new and renewal business, with a focus on renewals initially


• Develop skills to transition into an Account Executive role, including assisting in closing deals


• Utilize Epic software for account management and documentation

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required


• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in commercial lines account management


• Industry Knowledge: Strong expertise in property and hospitality accounts


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software preferred
