Are you a Commercial Lines professional who enjoys the challenge of finding the right market for a difficult or specialized risk?

A growing insurance organization is seeking a Commercial Insurance Marketing Specialist to help develop placement strategies for larger and more complex commercial accounts. Working closely with Producers, carrier underwriters, wholesalers, and internal teams, you'll translate client exposures into compelling submissions and negotiate competitive coverage solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is technically strong, market-savvy, persistent, and relationship-driven.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Producers to develop marketing and placement strategies for complex Commercial P&C accounts


• Prepare thorough, well-positioned underwriting submissions that accurately tell the client's risk story


• Market business across standard, specialty, and wholesale channels


• Build strong relationships with carrier underwriters and wholesale partners


• Manage carrier questions, follow-ups, and placement timelines from submission through final terms


• Analyze and compare coverage forms, exclusions, deductibles, pricing, subjectivities, and carrier terms


• Negotiate with markets to secure competitive coverage solutions


• Organize quotes and coverage details into clear recommendations for client presentations


• Maintain accurate market activity and documentation throughout the placement process

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience


• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License


• Strong technical understanding of Commercial Lines coverage and policy forms


• Experience with carrier marketing, underwriting submissions, or complex account placement


• Strong written communication and attention to detail


• Ability to build credible relationships with underwriters, wholesalers, Producers, and internal teams


• Strong organization and persistence when managing long or complex placement cycles


• Experience with carrier platforms, CRM systems, and agency management technology


• Applied Epic experience is a plus
