Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Producer to join a team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to specialize in trucking and commercial auto insurance, including General Liability (GL), Workers' Compensation (WC), and Business Owners Policies (BOP). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record in building and managing a successful book of business. This is a full-time, in-office position with significant growth potential and a clear path to earning performance-based bonuses.

Compensation Package

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a book of business specializing in trucking and commercial auto insurance


• Generate a minimum of $150,000 in premium annually, with opportunities to exceed this target


• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions


• Collaborate with account managers and administrative support to ensure seamless client service


• Quote and renew policies, focusing on middle-market to large-market accounts


• Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide clients with the most up-to-date advice

Qualifications/Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license


• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in commercial auto/trucking insurance, including familiarity with CMC numbers, dump trucks, and semi-trucks


• Proven ability to produce and manage a book of business


• Proficiency with insurance software, preferably Nowcertz


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships


• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
