Commercial Insurance Producer

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and customer-focused Commercial Insurance Producer to join the team. Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, serving as the primary contact to address business insurance needs.


• Develop sales strategies and proactively seek out potential clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other lead-generation methods.


• Assess clients' business needs and risks to recommend suitable insurance coverage solutions, including property, liability, workers' compensation, professional liability, and more.


• Collaborate with underwriters to create customized insurance coverage options for clients.


• Maintain a deep understanding of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.


• Regularly review and renew policies to ensure continued relevance and competitive pricing for clients.


• Educate clients on risk management practices, policy details, and claims processes.


• Achieve or exceed individual and team sales goals while ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.


• Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows to promote brand awareness.


• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales processes, and policy renewals in the CRM system.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience as an Insurance Producer, preferably with a focus on commercial lines.


• Hold a valid state insurance license for Property and Casualty (or ability to obtain one within the required timeframe).


• Strong sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain trust with clients and partners.


• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.


• Ability to analyze risks and offer personalized and strategic insurance solutions.


• Knowledge of commercial insurance products, industry practices, and legal guidelines.


• Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.


• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while meeting deadlines.


• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
