Responsibilities

• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers, understanding their unique insurance needs.


• Deliver customized insurance solutions, drawing on expertise in transportation-specific risks and coverage.


• Conduct thorough risk assessments and explain complex insurance products in an easy-to-understand manner.


• Collaborate with underwriters to design policies that align with clients' needs and budgets.


• Maintain extensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements pertaining to transportation.


• Meet or exceed sales goals through proactive networking, referrals, and effective prospecting strategies.


• Regularly follow up and renew existing accounts, anticipating clients' future needs.


• Represent the company at industry conferences and related events as needed.


• Ensure compliance with all internal processes, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Required: State insurance producer license (or ability to obtain one within 60 days).


• Experience: Proven experience in insurance sales, preferably in commercial insurance with a focus on transportation clients.


• Strong understanding of the transportation industry (e.g., trucking, logistics, freight) and its unique insurance challenges.


• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to connect with a diverse client base.


• Self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.


• Proficient in using CRM systems and other digital tools to track and manage client interactions.


• Goal-driven mindset, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.


• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and solving problems with empathy.


• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
