Commercial Lines Account Executive

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to serve as a trusted advisor to middle and large-market commercial insurance clients. This relationship-focused role emphasizes client engagement, renewal strategy, coverage consultation, and long-term account management rather than new business production.

Approximately 75% of the role is client-facing, including renewal meetings, coverage reviews, and relationship management. The remaining 25% focuses on account analysis, renewal preparation, and collaboration with internal teams and carrier partners.

Responsibilities

  Serve as the primary advisor for middle and large-market commercial insurance clients.

  Conduct comprehensive coverage reviews and provide consultative insurance guidance.

  Manage complex commercial risks and multi-line insurance programs.

  Collaborate with internal teams and carrier partners to support effective service delivery.

  Analyze account needs and prepare renewal strategies tailored to each client.

  Maintain accurate and organized account documentation.

  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• 
  

  Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

  
  


• 
  

  3+ years of experience in a client-facing Commercial Lines role within an independent insurance agency or brokerage.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience managing middle and large-market commercial accounts.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance coverages.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated ability to lead renewal strategy discussions and provide consultative insurance guidance.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience handling complex commercial risks and multi-line insurance programs.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

  
  

Compensation Package

• 
  

  Base Salary: $90,000 - $120,000.

  
  


• 
  

  Future bonus potential.
