Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to provide comprehensive A–Z servicing for commercial insurance accounts. This role is ideal for a professional with independent agency experience who is committed to delivering high-quality client service in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts across industries such as construction, real estate, professional services, and general commercial business.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide A–Z account servicing, including marketing new and renewal business, quoting, policy reviews, and renewal preparation.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with producers to ensure seamless client service and account retention.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide responsive and professional support to clients throughout the policy lifecycle.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with administrative support staff on certificates of insurance, documentation, and other routine servicing needs.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate account records and documentation within agency management systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with identifying coverage needs and presenting appropriate insurance solutions.

  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• 
  

  Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

  
  


• 
  

  5+ years of commercial lines experience within an independent agency environment preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Candidates with less experience may be considered based on demonstrated knowledge and capabilities.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience servicing small to mid-sized commercial accounts.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of quoting, marketing, and renewal processes.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with AMS360 and WorkSmart is preferred but not required.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

  
  

Compensation Package

• 
  

  Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000, with flexibility up to $100,000 for highly qualified candidates.
