Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing independent insurance agency. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in commercial account servicing, client relationship management, and marketing. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, collaborate with producers, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

  Manage and service a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts.

  Handle day-to-day account servicing, including policy reviews, renewals, endorsements, and new business quoting.

  Collaborate with producers to develop and implement effective client strategies.

  
  


• 
  

  Delegate administrative and servicing tasks to Assistant Account Managers (AAMs) as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Market accounts to insurance carriers and negotiate competitive coverage terms and pricing.

  
  


• 
  

  Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct account reviews to identify coverage gaps, address client needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Utilize Applied EPIC or similar agency management software to maintain accurate account records and documentation.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure timely and accurate processing of policy changes, renewals, and other service requests.

  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• 
  

  Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines account management.

  
  


• 
  

  Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in Applied EPIC or similar agency management software.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverage options across various industries.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with account marketing, renewals, and client relationship management.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts effectively.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.

Compensation Package

• 
  

  Salary Range: $55,000 – $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
