Commercial Lines CSR / Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines CSR / Account Manager to join a dynamic and growing independent insurance agency. Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines CSR / Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day servicing of Commercial Lines accounts.


• Handling endorsements, policy changes, certificates of insurance, and other client requests.


• Assisting with the renewal process by gathering necessary client and exposure information.


• Communicating with carriers regarding policies, coverage questions, underwriting requests, and account servicing.


• Reviewing policies and documentation for accuracy.


• Responding to client inquiries and delivering timely, professional customer service.


• Maintaining accurate client and policy information within the agency management system.


• Collaborating with Producers and team members to ensure accounts are properly serviced.


• Identifying coverage gaps, account-rounding opportunities, and additional client needs.


• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and carrier partners.

Qualifications/Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Prior experience in Commercial Lines insurance is preferred.


• Entry-level candidates with a strong interest in developing a long-term career in insurance may also be considered.


• Property & Casualty license is preferred or a willingness to obtain one.


• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.


• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.


• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.


• Experienced Commercial Lines Account Managers and CSRs are strongly encouraged to apply.
