Commercial Assistant Account Manager / Commercial Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking dedicated and detail-oriented professionals to join a growing commercial department as a Commercial Assistant Account Manager or Commercial Account Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts, including construction, oil and gas, trucking, transportation, real estate, and property. This is a full-time, on-site position, with a supportive team environment and opportunities for professional development.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $40,000 - $85,000+ (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

For Assistant Account Manager:

• Handle Certificates of Insurance (COIs), endorsements, policy changes, and document management.


• Provide backend support, including answering phones and assisting with administrative tasks.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth account management.


• Opportunity to take on client-facing responsibilities based on skills and preferences.

For Seasoned Account Manager:

• Manage commercial accounts from start to finish, including renewal marketing and new business marketing.


• Prepare proposals, presentations, and handle billing and invoicing.


• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.


• Work collaboratively with customers to address their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required:

• Licenses: Texas Property & Casualty (P&C) License.


• Experience:
  
  
  
  • Assistant Account Manager: Minimum 1 year in commercial lines.
  
  
  • Seasoned Account Manager: 3-10 years in commercial lines.
  
  
  
  


• Strong organizational and communication skills.


• Proficiency in managing middle-market accounts ($50,000 - $500,000 in revenue).
