Help Build the Next Generation of Commercial Insurance Talent

A growing, forward-thinking insurance organization is seeking a Commercial Lines Training & Onboarding Specialist to play a critical role in developing new talent, standardizing workflows, and supporting agency growth initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Lines professional who enjoys coaching others, sharing knowledge, and creating consistency across teams. You'll serve as a trusted resource for new hires while partnering with operations, leadership, and technology teams to ensure employees are equipped to succeed from day one.

In addition to onboarding new team members, you'll help support newly acquired agency partners by providing workflow and systems training during integration and go-live initiatives.

What You'll Do

Training & Onboarding

• Lead onboarding and training programs for new Commercial Lines team members


• Deliver engaging instruction on Applied Epic and Commercial Lines workflows


• Teach the full policy lifecycle, including:

  • Endorsements
  
  
  • Certificates
  
  
  • Claims
  
  
  • Audits
  
  
  • Cancellations & Reinstatements
  
  
  
  


• Customize training based on experience level and learning needs

Coaching & Development

• Observe and guide new hires through real-world workflows and transactions


• Validate proficiency before independent production


• Identify skill gaps and provide targeted coaching


• Support employees during their transition from training to live account management

Systems & Process Excellence

• Maintain and enhance training materials, workflow guides, and process documentation


• Partner with IT and Operations teams on Applied Epic configuration and access issues


• Identify recurring workflow challenges and recommend process improvements


• Help drive consistency and best practices across a growing organization

Agency Integration & Travel

• Support onboarding efforts for newly acquired agency partners


• Travel periodically to assist with go-live training initiatives


• Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for teams transitioning onto standardized workflows

What We're Looking For

✅ Strong Applied Epic expertise, including workflows, activities, navigation, and troubleshooting

✅ Deep understanding of Commercial Lines operations and policy lifecycle processes

✅ Previous Commercial Lines Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, Team Lead, or Operations experience

✅ Ability to teach, mentor, and communicate complex concepts in a practical way

✅ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

✅ Comfortable leading one-on-one sessions, group training, and virtual learning environments

✅ Ability to build credibility with both new hires and experienced professionals

Bonus Points For

⭐ Prior training, mentoring, coaching, or onboarding experience

⭐ Experience supporting agency integrations or operational process improvement initiatives
