Insurance Sales Agent

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Agent to join a team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in the insurance industry to provide exceptional service to a valued customers. You will be responsible for generating leads, managing a pipeline of prospects, and selling personal lines insurance products while ensuring compliance and confidentiality. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work three days a week with mileage reimbursement for travel to alternate office locations.

Compensation Package

• Starting Pay: $21.49/hour with a lower commission structure.


• Post-Ramp-Up Pay: $19.85/hour with increased commission potential.

Responsibilities

• Generate and develop leads through various channels, including member base, walk-ins, phone, internet, and networking.


• Actively maintain and manage a pipeline of prospects.


• Conduct a minimum of 50 prospecting calls per week and track activity.


• Meet or exceed key performance goals, including achieving a 33% closing rate.


• Provide quotes and sell personal lines insurance products while educating customers on their options.


• Collaborate with Client Service Agents to support complex service needs.


• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain customer confidentiality.


• Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities across the organization’s products and services.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• A minimum of 3 years of proven success in the insurance industry.


• Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty and Life & Health Licenses.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel to multiple office locations as needed.
