Market Vice President, Property & Casualty

Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Market Vice President, Property & Casualty, to lead and drive the strategic direction, growth, and operational excellence of a Property and Casualty division. This role is pivotal in fostering a high-performing team, optimizing carrier relationships, and ensuring exceptional client outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commercial background, proven leadership experience, and a deep understanding of the insurance industry.

Compensation Package

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall performance, growth, and strategic direction of the Property and Casualty division.


• Develop and execute market-level growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives.


• Drive organic revenue growth through new business development, cross-selling, client retention, and expansion of existing client relationships.


• Establish and maintain a high-performing team culture, fostering accountability and performance excellence.


• Provide leadership and guidance to team leads and oversee a division of approximately 50 employees.


• Monitor profit and loss performance, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.


• Optimize carrier relationships and ensure alignment with market trends and client needs.


• Collaborate with team leads to develop high-performing teams and ensure exceptional service delivery.


• Analyze market trends, competitive conditions, and client needs to identify growth opportunities.


• Support strategic initiatives, process improvements, and operational scalability.


• Represent the organization within the business community through networking, client engagement, and industry involvement.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.


• Strong commercial background with experience in agency leadership.


• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.


• Deep understanding of Property and Casualty products, insurance agency operations, and carrier relationships.


• P&C-TX license required.


• Demonstrated experience managing profit and loss performance.


• Strong analytical skills, including metric management and business intelligence analysis.


• Proficiency in Applied Epic or similar agency management systems.

Preferred:

• Relevant professional designations (e.g., CPCU, ARM, CIC).


• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.


• Experience with strategy development and market adaptation.
