In this role, you will be responsible for engineering and design of mechanical assemblies, automation systems, and other related systems for precision deep-hole drilling machines and special purpose industrial equipment. Machine layout drawing, required calculations,component specification, and other documentation. Perform engineering tasks related to drafting, mechanical analysis, and design, while maintaining confidentiality and supporting company standards. This position is a temp to perm or direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related degree


• 2-5 Years of Experience in design of manufacturing equipment or industrial machinery Required


• Applied mathematical skills and mechanical analysis ability


• Computer skills with drafting and AutoCAD proficiency (Solidworks and Inventor) 


• Physical Demands (lift or move up to 50 pounds)
