Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. This role involves managing a shared book of business with a premium size of $400,000 in revenue, focusing on personal lines accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.

Compensation Package

• Salary: Up to $60,000 annually (commensurate with experience)


• Bonus: Quarterly retention bonus, with a maximum of up to 10% of annual salary

Responsibilities

• Manage a shared book of business with approximately 500 accounts, ranging from $100 to $10,000 in revenue per account


• Handle a mix of 20% new business and 80% renewals


• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers, with a focus on Auto Owners, Cincinnati, and Selective Insurance


• Utilize AMS 360 agency management system to manage accounts and ensure accurate documentation


• Collaborate with team members to meet retention and growth goals


• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and offering tailored insurance solutions

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance (candidates with 1 year of experience may be considered for a lower salary range)


• Familiarity with key carriers such as Auto Owners, Cincinnati, and Selective Insurance is highly preferred


• Proficiency in using AMS 360 or similar agency management systems


• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a high volume of accounts


• High school diploma or GED required


• Ability to work onsite 4 days per week, with 1 day remote (flexibility for hybrid arrangements may be discussed)
