Job Title: Personal Lines Insurance Agent

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Lines Insurance Agent to join a growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized advice and guidance on personal insurance policies, including home, auto, and other lines of coverage.


• Assess clients' needs to suggest appropriate insurance solutions, focusing on long-term protection and financial security.


• Educate clients on the benefits and limitations of policy options to ensure informed decision-making.


• Prepare and present quotes, process applications, and finalize policy documentation with accuracy and efficiency.


• Manage policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.


• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to enhance client portfolios.


• Stay updated on industry trends, compliance regulations, and product offerings to better serve clients.


• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer inquiries, claims, or billing matters promptly and professionally.


• Continuously develop expertise through professional training and certification programs.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensure: A valid state license to sell insurance products is required or must be obtained within a specific timeframe upon hire.


• Experience: Previous experience (1–3 years) in personal lines insurance or a related sales/customer service role is preferred but not required.


• Education: A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
