Personal Lines Producer

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Lines Producer to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients by offering tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs. This role involves actively generating new business opportunities, providing outstanding customer service, and staying knowledgeable in personal lines insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with individual clients to provide personalized insurance products, including home, auto, and personal liability policies.


• Identify and assess customer needs through proactive outreach, client consultations, and policy reviews.


• Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and actively prospecting potential clients.


• Recommend suitable insurance coverage options that align with the specific needs of the client.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, policies, and sales activities within the CRM system.


• Educate clients about policy features, benefits, and coverage, ensuring they understand their options.


• Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and modifications in a timely manner.


• Stay informed on industry trends, insurance products, competitive offerings, and regulatory requirements.


• Collaborate with underwriters, the service team, and other departments to ensure seamless client experiences.


• Adhere to ethical guidelines and compliance standards in all business matters.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Possess a valid insurance producer license (property and casualty) or ability to obtain licensure within a designated timeframe.


• Proven experience in a sales or client-facing role, preferably within the insurance industry.


• Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products (e.g., homeowner, auto, renters, umbrella policies).


• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.


• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and address client inquiries professionally.


• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet sales goals.


• Proficient in using CRM systems, MS Office, and other relevant sales and communication tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance sales or account handling.


• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
